Our students celebrated the 101th years anniversary  of the Republic of Türkiye at maarif international school of yeka branch  on October 29, 2024.

Maarif Yeka branch celebrated Handwashing Day with engaging demonstrations to highlight the significance of proper hand hygiene. By showcasing interactive experiments and activities, the event aimed to educate students about the impact of handwashing on their health and well-being. 

The Cambridge training was a resounding success, equipping us  with the knowledge and skills to excel in our  role. The comprehensive curriculum, coupled with engaging training methodologies, significantly enhanced our understanding . We are  confident that the valuable insights gained from the training will empower us  to achieve remarkable results and contribute meaningfully to the organization's goals.

The Cambridge Teacher Training program has successfully concluded, leaving a lasting impact on the participating educators. As Ethiopian Minister of Health has announced the successful start of polio vaccinations using the nOPV2 vaccine nationally our  International Maarif School in Ethiopia has commence the campaign .  This initiative aims to protect children from polio, a serious infectious disease. The nOPV2 vaccine is a new formulation designed to be safer and more effective in preventing outbreaks. The vaccination campaign is part of a broader effort to ensure that all children receive the necessary immunizations to maintain their health and prevent the spread of polio in the community.

The polling station, set up within the school premises, buzzed with anticipation as students lined up, each eager to make their voices heard. Teachers and fellow students observed the proceedings, emphasizing the importance of democratic participation and the value of student leadership. with the watchful eyes of teachers and the enthusiastic participation of students, the election at the International Maarif School of Ethiopia was not just about choosing a president—it was about empowering young leaders and nurturing a culture of active citizenship that would resonate far beyond the school walls.
