World Teachers’ Day is held annually on 5 October to celebrate all teachers around the globe. It commemorates the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers, which sets benchmarks regarding the rights and responsibilities of teachers, and standards for their initial preparation and further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching and learning conditions.

Being a teacher provides the unique opportunity to make a transformative and lasting impact on the lives of others, contributing to shaping sustainable futures and offering personal fulfilment.

"The Red Day celebration was a wonderful learning activity that helped the children understand the concept of primary colors. To mark this day, our international Maarif schools in Ethiopia , Yeka branch students celebrate Red Day.

Red Day’ introduces children to the mesmerizing realm of colors. The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively, and cheerful.

First day of school year 2023/24 

Your child has achieved all the goals of upper kindergarten students (UKG) and they’ve been deemed ready to pursue the next level. Our international Maarif schools wish a happy graduation for all Upper KG students, and We also express our gratitude to all those who attend the graduation ceremonies, including dignitaries, distinguished guests, and deserving parents. 

Students from the international Maarif schools of Ethiopia—Yeka branch Primary School, came out to plant trees on their school compounds. The initiative formed part of the school’s plan and study.  Students were assisted by teachers “Better school life comes from a better environment”.

Children glowed in different hues and tints of colors and enjoyed a memorable learning experience by engaging in stamping , by celebrating birthday  and different  activities in a lively, vibrant and high-spirited environment.
